January 2015 Conversations, Segment 2

Conversations is a monthly, 30-minute television show in which I participate in an ongoing conversation about the Archdiocese of Louisville, my involvement with the larger Church (both nationally and globally), and issues of faith in general. In the second segment from our January, 2015 episode, I visit the Archdiocese of Louisville History Center and take viewers on a brief tour along with archdiocesan historian, Fr. Clyde Crews and archdiocesan archivist, Fr. Dale Cieslik.

“Here am I, Lord; send me.”

This past Sunday I celebrated Mass at 9:30 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Assumption and the wonderful Cathedral choir, echoing the second reading for the day from 1 Samuel Chapter 3, provided the beautifully moving “Anthem of Dedication” by Warren Martin for reflection at the time of the preparation of the altar and gifts.
