Lessons from the Synod: Mission of Families Flows from the Tenderness of God
Three weeks of prayer, discussion, revisions, and final recommendations to Pope Francis on the vocation and mission of the family today have now reached a completion. Thanks for all your prayers and support. It will be good to get home. I pray that our efforts inspired by the work of the Holy Spirit will be a contribution to the pastoral life of the family and of the Church, a family of families.

On Saturday, October 10, the Pax Christi Collaborative of St. Elizabeth of Hungary, Our Mother of Sorrows and St. Therese hosted a Parish Growth Conference. Below is the message I recorded to share at this event, while I am in Rome participating in the Synod on the Family.
Teaching Virtue Through Sports
This summer I participated in a “rosary rally” for local sports teams at St. Patrick Parish. The rally was organized by a group called SportsLeader, which is national training program for coaches focused on teaching virtue. Reflections on 450th Celebration of Foundation of Diocese of St. Augustine
On September 8, I traveled to St. Augustine, Florida to take part in the Diocese of St. Augustine’s founding celebrations. Here are some reflections on it that I shared with Bishop Felipe Estévez:
