Second and special collections are taken up for specific purposes within the Archdiocese, the nation, and the Church worldwide. Catholics are called to evaluate the giftedness with which God has bestowed upon us for the good of the earth and of the Kingdom and to respond with solidarity to contribute to the common good of all.

Participation in this solidarity begins first at home and then radiates through our parish homes to families throughout the world. All parishes are encouraged to respond as generously as possible in giving support to these important areas of ministry serving our local Church and the universal Church.
