Due to guidance from the Centers for Disease Control on the COVID-19 pandemic, effective March 16, 2020, Archbishop Joseph Kurtz suspended the public celebration of the Holy Eucharist, effectively immediately and until further notice. On May 11, Archbishop Joseph Kurtz announced that those parishes that are able to open safely may resume public liturgical celebrations, including Mass, on May 20. Please see his letter and a link to the plan.
