Courage and EnCourage Ministry

Are you, or do you have a loved one, experiencing same-sex attraction and are looking for answers?

Courage, a ministry of the Catholic Church that provides spiritual support for Catholic men and women with same-sex attraction who desire to lead chaste lives consistent with the teaching of the Catholic Church, has a chapter operating in the Archdiocese of Louisville offering confidential spiritual support-group meetings on this issue.

Also meeting locally, EnCourage is a companion ministry within the Courage apostolate dedicated to serving the spiritual needs of parents, siblings, children, and other relatives and friends of persons who are experiencing same-sex attractions. EnCourage members support one another and their loved ones through discussion, prayer and fellowship in a confidential group setting.

For more information, you can reach the Courage/EnCourage Chaplain, Fr. Jonathan Erdman, or Co-Chaplain Deacon Stephen Bowling at courage@archlou.org or check out Courage’s official website http://couragerc.org.

Both the Courage and EnCourage local chapters are official ministries of the Archdiocese of Louisville through the Family Ministries Office.
