Major New Initiatives Announced for Catholic Elementary Schools

Four Archdiocese of Louisville Catholic Elementary Schools Win Blue Ribbon Awards

Catholic Elementary Teachers Gather for Opening School Rally

August 7, 2014 (Louisville, Ky.) Approximately 750 teachers from 37 Catholic elementary schools will gather on Friday, August 8 to celebrate the beginning of the 2014-2015 school year. Catholic School Spring Break Week for 2014-2015 School Year Changed

May 14, 2014 (Louisville, Ky.) Based upon the change in the Spring Break dates on the part of Jefferson County Public Schools, Catholic school leaders overwhelmingly recommended that Catholic schools in Jefferson County adjust the 2015 Spring Break dates to be consistent with other school systems. Based on that input, Leisa Schulz, Superintendent of Schools, has changed the 2015 Spring Break dates to April 6-10, 2015 for Jefferson County Catholic schools. Catholic Charities Holds Rice Bowl Lunch

November 18, 2013  Students in grade 8 who wish to attend a Catholic high school next year are required to take the Catholic high school placement test scheduled on Saturday, December 14, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  Students take the test at the Catholic high school they plan to attend.
