January 23, 2018 (Louisville, Kentucky) – Nearly 19,500 students and 1,500 faculty and staff at 49 Catholic elementary and secondary schools will celebrate National Catholic Schools Week from January 28-February 3, 2018. October 31, 2017 (Louisville, KY) – On Wednesday, November 8, the Archdiocese of Louisville will honor 213 Catholic school teachers who have achieved a total of 3,505 years of teaching experience. Students in grade 8 who wish to attend a Catholic high school next year are required to take the Catholic high school placement test scheduled on Saturday, December 9, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Students take the test at the Catholic high school they plan to attend. Catholic Schools Begin 2017-18 Academic Year
August 4, 2017 (Louisville, KY) – Jefferson County Catholic elementary schools in the Archdiocese of Louisville will begin the first official day of instruction on August 16, 2017.
