Three Catholic Elementary Schools Win National Blue Ribbon Award
September 24, 2020 (Louisville, Ky.)–The United States Department of Education announced that three Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Louisville are 2020 National Blue Ribbon Schools. Three elementary schools serving preschool through grade 8 will be recognized: Saint Agnes School (1800 Newburg Road, Louisville, Ky.) for the fourth time (1999, 2005, 2014, and 2020). Dear Catholic School Leaders and Parents, Archdiocese of Louisville Catholic Schools will be closed Monday, March 16, 2020 through Friday, April 3, 2020 in response to Governor Andy Beshear’s recommendation that all Kentucky schools close as one of several preventive measures to address the COVID-19 outbreak. All Catholic school activities are also canceled during this time. Catholic High School Placement Test – December 14, 2019
November 4, 2019 (Louisville, Ky.)–Students in grade 8 who wish to attend a Catholic high school next year are required to take the Catholic high school placement test scheduled on Saturday, December 14, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Students take the test at the Catholic high school they plan to attend, and students should bring two #2 pencils.
