Catholic Charities Accepting Donations for Victims of Tornadoes

(Louisville, KY) The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Louisville is coordinating donations through its local Catholic Charities agency in the aftermath of devastating tornadoes in Oklahoma and Texas.

Parishes have been encouraged to hold a special collection for relief efforts. Funds collected will be forwarded to Catholic Charities, Louisville to be directed to Catholic Charities USA. Catholic Charities USA will coordinate relief efforts with the appropriate dioceses.

Nicholas John Brown and Christopher Bradley Lubecke to be Ordained to the Priesthood For the Archdiocese of Louisville

(Louisville, KY) On Saturday, May 25, 2013, Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz, D.D., will ordain Nicholas John Brown and Christopher Bradley Lubecke to the diocesan priesthood for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Louisville. Saint Bernadette’s New Church is Dedicated

(Louisville, KY) On Sunday, April 21 at 3:00 p.m., Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz will join Fr. Terry Bradshaw, pastor, and the parishioners of Saint Bernadette Parish for the dedication of the new church. St. Bernadette Parish is located at 6516 Saint Bernadette Avenue, Prospect, Kentucky.

Archdiocese of Louisville Welcomes 456 New Members

(Louisville, KY) Four hundred fifty-six individuals who are preparing to enter the Roman Catholic Church will be recognized during the “Rite of Election and Call to Continuing Conversion” ceremonies at two locations. Steven Douglas Henriksen to be Ordained to the Priesthood for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Louisville

(Louisville, KY) On Saturday, February 2, 2013, Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz, D.D., will ordain Steven Douglas Henriksen to the diocesan priesthood for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Louisville. The ordination will take place at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Parish, 501 Cherrywood Road.
