Description: St. Stephen Martyr Catholic Church is seeking a full time Business Manager.

As a member of the parish administration team, the Business Manager works in collaboration with the Pastor, the Principal, teachers and support staff, to oversee the physical, financial and human resources of SSM church and school.

Responsibilities include accounting and financial management functions in accordance with Archdiocesan policies, financial reporting, maintenance of the general ledger, developing the annual budget, working with vendors, overseeing tuition payments, coordinating financial assistance through the Catholic Education Foundation and other sources, and handling of fundraising activities and reporting in compliance with Kentucky gaming laws.

Qualifications: Qualified applicants should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance, 3-5 years experience in a related field, a heartfelt passion for Christ and the Catholic Church, and a sincere desire to serve our brothers and sisters in the St. Stephen Martyr Community.

Description: Saint Peter the Apostle church in Southwest Louisville, KY is seeking an individual to serve as Coordinator of Faith Formation. Candidate will coordinate sacramental preparation for Rite of Christian Initiation of Adult (RCIA), as well as Religious Education for Saint Peter the Apostle and Saint Andrew Academy. Candidate will attend staff meetings and collaborate with priests, deacons, and other staff to coordinate spiritual and formational programs and rites. Candidate will also facilitate communication between staff and community.
Qualifications: Candidate should have knowledge of Church teaching, should be a practicing catholic in good standing with the church, should be committed to personal growth in the faith. Candidate should possess a good organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Candidate must be able to work weekends and evening as needed.

Description: The Business Manager is responsible for advancing the evangelizing mission of the parish through their oversight and management of parish resources. The Business Manager oversees the day-to-day financial activities of the parish and its various ministries, including our growing National Blue Ribbon Catholic school. In collaboration with the Pastor, parish staff, and parishioners, the Business Manager integrates effective financial management to direct parish resources to support our mission.

Responsibilities include oversight of all accounting functions in compliance with Archdiocesan financial policies, moth-end closing of the general ledger along with account reconciliations and all associated reporting, coordination of preparing the annual budget, maintaining relationships with vendors, monitoring school tuition payments and financial assistance, delivering effective direction of purchasing procedures, and providing controls over all fundraising activities and reporting. The Business Manager also serves as supervisor to the parish’s administrative and facilities staff.

This is a full time position with benefits and salary commensurate with experience.

Qualifications:

Maintenance Manager

Description: The Maintenance Manager supervises all aspects of maintenance to ensure safe and efficient church and school grounds and facilities. In conjunction with the Business Manager and the School Principal, the Maintenance Manager directs and oversees major projects for remodeling, maintaining, and improving the physical ground and facilities.. The Maintenance Manager executes their role in the service of the greater goal of advancing the authentic Christian mission of the Parish and a deeper living of the Gospel in the lives of Parishioners.
Reports to: Pastoral Associate
Status: Salaried exempt, 40 hours per week, available for evening and weekend work

Responsibilities
Implementation of Maintenance and Cleanliness
● Ensure church and school campus is always safe, clean, and maintained in a good condition
● Document and follow work as outlined in the role’s list of Standard Operating Procedures (in development)
● Oversee and carry out routine and abnormal maintenance tasks
● Use system to track all maintenance and janitorial work
● Oversee scheduled cleaning of all church and school property.
● Personally provide janitorial support when needed
● Monitor and oversee contracted services as needed: pest control, repairs, custodial, etc.
● Maintain a work center for maintenance activities and secure control of materials providing a system to track inventory usage by project and restock as needed.
Planning and Training for Maintenance and Cleanliness
● Recruit, train, schedule and manage day and evening maintenance and janitorial staff.
● Instructs maintenance staff on safety standards, new maintenance procedures, practices & materials.
● Provide child safety education and training to all supervisory staff as described by Catholic Mutual and KESA.
● Develop procedures for after duty hours emergencies including holidays and weekends.
● Plan and schedule routine and preventive equipment and appliance maintenance according to warranty /manufacturer specifications and safety considerations.
● Prepare budgets for each maintenance project following financial department procedures to obtain materials, labor and equipment as needed.
● Maintain a file system for all contracts, equipment warranties and service manuals.
● Coordinate procedures for church staff to report maintenance requests and emergencies to Maintenance Department in a timely manner
Set-up and Tear Down for Events
● Coordinate events, set up, cleaning, and tear down, noting property care
● Other duties as assigned.
Grounds Supervision
● Ground-keeping and mowing of all areas, except large fields.
● Clean-up of grounds and removal of trash.
Qualifications: ● Previous maintenance experience.
● Appropriate certifications in maintenance/engineering or equivalent experience.
● Previous supervisory experience in maintenance and contract workers.
● Knowledge of maintenance in the fields of carpentry, electrical work, cement work, plumbing, sanitation, mechanics, locksmithing, air conditioning, grounds maintenance and janitorial care.
● Ability to understand a variety of technical subjects relating to maintenance.
● Ability to prepare and implement budgets.
● Familiarity with church and school environments.
● Driver’s License.

Description: The Director of Adult Religious Formation is a parish minister who acquired specialized training in religious education, theology and ministry.
