Couples Celebrate a Total of 6,149 Years of Marriage

October 16, 2018 (Louisville, Ky.)–Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz, D.D. is celebrating the annual Wedding Anniversary Mass on Sunday, October 21, 2:00 p.m., at the Cathedral of the Assumption, 433 South Fifth Street.

This event honors 130 couples celebrating their 30, 40, 50, and 60+ wedding anniversaries. The breakdown includes:

The longest-married couple (70 years) is Raymond and Ethel Marrillia of Saint Margaret Mary Church, Louisville, Ky.

Media outlets that wish to do interviews must be at the Cathedral at least 25 minutes early. We cannot conduct interviews after 1:45 p.m. because of preparations for the liturgy.  This event is sponsored by the Family Ministries Office, one of the 19 service agencies of the Archdiocese of Louisville.
