Couples Celebrate a Total of 5,901 Years of Marriage

October 16, 2019 (Louisville, Ky.)–The Very Reverend Martin A. Linebach, Vicar General for the Archdiocese, is celebrating the annual Wedding Anniversary Mass on Sunday, October 20, 2:00 p.m., at the Cathedral of the Assumption, 433 South Fifth Street.

This event honors 118 couples celebrating their 30, 40, 50, and 60+ wedding anniversaries. The breakdown includes:

The longest-married couple (69 years) is Ray and Mary Angela Suell of Epiphany Catholic Church, Louisville, Ky.

Media outlets that wish to do interviews must be at the Cathedral at least 25 minutes early. Interviews cannot be conducted after 1:45 p.m. because of preparations for the liturgy. Deacon Stephen Bowling, Director of the Family Ministries Office, will be the media contact at this event.
