October 19, 2016 (Louisville, KY)  Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz, D.D. is celebrating the annual Wedding Anniversary Mass on Sunday, October 23, 2:00 p.m., at the Cathedral of the Assumption, 433 South Fifth Street.

This event honors 112 couples celebrating their 30, 40, 50, and 60+ wedding anniversaries. The breakdown includes:

The longest-married couples (70 years) are Fred and Josephine Harwood of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Louisville, Ralph and Mary Rose Monroe of St. Martha Parish in Louisville, and James and Dorothy Wadell of St. Aloysius Parish in Pewee Valley, Ky.

Media outlets that wish to do interviews must be at the Cathedral at least 25 minutes early. We cannot conduct interviews after 1:45 p.m. because of preparations for the liturgy.
