Finance Council of the Archdiocese of Louisville

Canon 492 states, “In each diocese, a financial council is to be established by the bishop over which he himself or his delegate presides, and which is to be composed of at least three members of the Christian faithful truly skilled in financial affairs as well as in civil law, of outstanding integrity and appointed by the bishop.” (Code of Canon Law)

The Archdiocesan Finance Council advises the Archbishop and assists the Chief Financial Officer in the administration of the goods of the local Church.
