Chief Operating Officer

Opening: Chief Operating Officer
Parish/School: St. Michael’s Catholic Church
Description: St. Michael’s Catholic Church, which has 1600+ registered households and a school ministry enrolling over 700, is seeking an experienced professional to serve as its Chief Operating Officer (COO).  The COO will manage, oversee and coordinate the ministries of staff and parishioners responsible for critical administrative functions including financial reporting; accounting; budgeting; marketing; fundraising/development; and responses to internal and external audit findings.
Qualifications: The COO works under the general supervision of the Pastor.  Preferred qualifications for this position include:

1)  Registered membership in a Roman Catholic parish;

2)  At least 10 years of experience comparable to the functional requirements associated with the position; and

3)  Attainment of at least a baccalaureate degree in a discipline or with coursework in studies preparatory to success in handling the requirements of the position.
