Part-time Business Manager

Opening: Part-time Business Manager
Parish/School: Mount Saint Francis Center for Spirituality
Description: Mount Saint Francis Center for Spirituality (located near Floyds Knobs, Indiana) is seeking a part-time (18 hrs. week) Business Manager who is experienced in all areas of accounting, bookkeeping, financial analysis, and payroll processing.
Qualifications: Candidate should be proficient in Sage Accounting program, Microsoft Excel and Word. Candidate should ideally have BS in accounting or finance with 5+ years experience, additional credentials such as MBA or CPA preferred.  A good communicator is important since this position works with office staff, orders for gift shop, and reports to the Director of Retreats.

Description: Kentucky’s premier Right to Life organization needs a voice for the voiceless in the management of our state-wide organization located in the St. Matthews area of Louisville.

Since 1974, our mission has been to protect preborn babies and their mothers.

With affiliates throughout Kentucky, our non-profit operation has been in the forefront of educating citizens on the life issues.  We continue to focus on restoring legal protection to the weak and vulnerable, particularly the unborn, but also work to preserve the lives of other members of the human family threatened by embryonic stem cell research, infanticide, and euthanasia.  Our aim always is to seek positive alternatives to crisis situations.

Among full-time office manager duties:

Day-to-day running of the office

Administrative support to the Executive Director

Management of volunteers

Accounts management and Payroll

Production of organization reports and email correspondence

Database management and retrieval

Qualifications: This position requires:

College degree

Excellent computer and general office skills

Satisfactory interpersonal, oral, and written communication

Ability to work independently

Displaying a positive attitude and patience while answering phone inquiries

Exhibit a passion for the pro-life ethic

Applicants should display compassion, energy, and vision and be relatively well-versed on life and death issues, while remaining current on the latest developments and news regarding abortion, infanticide, and euthanasia.
