Qualifications: Applicants for this position must be good standing members and participants of KCC Constituent Communions and demonstrate a good understanding of the Ecumenical movement. Ordination is not a requirement. Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred. Applicants must be residents in the state of Kentucky, have ability to travel around the state in support of job responsibilities. Applicants must show ability to use email, texts and other forms of digital communication, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and other apps to facilitate their work. Preferred experience in stewardship development or fund raising. Excellent relational skills are a must.

Director of Mission and Outreach

Description: The Director of Mission and Outreach (DMO) assists the pastor in growing the parish by reaching out to the unchurched and alienated within the parish boundaries. This person of faith is a pastoral leader and community builder who helps enliven all parish ministries with a spirit of hospitality, welcome, and intentional discipleship. The DMO encourages practicing Catholics to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ and live out the Great Commission to “go and make disciples.”

The DMO provides leadership and administration in key areas of parish life, including:

  • Evangelization: Leads the parish Evangelization Team, develops outreach strategies, and coordinates efforts to engage parishioners, school families, and the broader community.
  • OCIA Inquiry & Pre-Catechumenate: Hosts informal gatherings for those exploring the Catholic faith, introduces basic Catholic teachings, and fosters connections with the parish community.
  • Welcome & Integration: Develops communication and accompaniment strategies for new parishioners and OCIA neophytes, helping them become active members of the parish.
  • Volunteer Coordination: Connects parishioners with ministry opportunities, facilitates training, and supports parish-wide service initiatives and mission trips.
  • Pastoral Care: Coordinates care and Communion visits to the homebound and those in nursing care facilities, and supports the BeFriender Ministry.
  • Community Building: Supports the formation and growth of Root Groups and collaborates with ministries such as In Heaven’s Eyes and St. Vincent de Paul.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate is a practicing Catholic with a strong personal faith, a love for the Church, and a desire to build community through relational ministry and outreach. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills are essential.

Description: Saint Mary of the of the Annunciation Parish is seeking a Coordinator of Religious Education (CRE) to assist the intercultural community pastor in handing on the Faith through Catholic Catechesis. This is done by equipping catechetical leaders and facilitating religious education programs for ages Pre-K through Grade 12.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be bilingual (English & Spanish), possess a strong faith, and a deep love of the Catholic Church. The applicant will be knowledgeable about Church teachings and committed to their faithful transmission to a new generation. The CRE provides leadership and administration of specific areas of parish life to ensure that the formation needs of parishioners and parish are met while facilitating the living out of the Catholic Faith.
