The Archdiocese of Louisville Liturgy Formation Program offers the opportunity for participants to gain a deeper understanding of the rituals we celebrate and a greater knowledge of liturgical ministry. Through twelve classes—which provide a basic understanding of liturgy, the liturgical year, liturgical ministry, liturgical music, and the celebration of the Mass—the Liturgy Formation Program aims to assist in promoting the fruitful celebration of the liturgy throughout the archdiocese. The second module of six classes will be offered in the 2015-16 year and the first module of six classes will be offered in the 2016-17 year.
The Liturgy Formation Program is open to all parishioners but would be especially beneficial for Worship and Music Directors, Worship Committees, Liturgy Preparation Teams, Musicians, Deacons, and Sacristans.
