The Director of Alumni Relations develops and implements programs, events, communications, and engagement strategies that strengthen lifelong connections between alumni and Sacred Heart Schools. The position serves as the primary liaison to the Sacred Heart Alumnae Association and SHMS alumni, cultivates alumni involvement and volunteerism, supports fundraising efforts, and fosters meaningful relationships that advance the mission and strategic goals of SHS.

Security Officer – Part-time

Sacred Heart Schools seeks a full-time high-energy Security Officer to protect assets, employees, students, and visitors by maintaining safety and security of our premises. The Security Officer will interact with visitor access management, secure the premises, patrol a 48-acre campus, perform reconnaissance, and respond to incidents. Responsibilities also include handling emergency situations, coordinating security activities, escorting visitors, reviewing daily logs, and submitting reports.

Extended Program Staff

Sacred Heart Preschool seeks part-time Extended Program Staff members effective immediately. This position provides support to classroom teachers and subs as needed in the classroom. Candidates should be energetic, positive, and possess the ability to manage groups with positive guidance; attend all staff meetings and participate in required activities. The work schedule is Monday through Friday 12:00pm – 5:30pm. The position is flexible to accommodate employee school schedules.

Associate Head Tennis Coach

• Must have completed a minimum of 64 semester hours of college credit, documented by an official transcript, or meet applicable requirements to serve as an approved substitute teacher.
• Previous tennis coaching experience required, with demonstrated knowledge of tennis fundamentals, strategy, and player development.
• Competitive tennis playing experience is preferred.
• Must complete KHSAA Coaching and Safety webinars and tennis-specific webinars, as well as required CPR training.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with student athletes, parents, and colleagues.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the Head Tennis Coach and other members of the coaching staff.

This position requires a background check and completion of the Safe Environment Training course offered through the Archdiocese of Louisville before interacting with students.

Bookkeeper

Familiarity with Quickbooks and Paychex is preferred and proficiency with Microsoft Office a must.

-The ideal candidate will be a practicing Catholic, who is organized, detail‑oriented, and trustworthy, able to maintain confidentiality and follow established internal controls. Experience with bookkeeping in a Catholic Parish or School is preferred.

Kindergarten Assistant

Ascension School is seeking a Kindergarten Assistant to begin immediately.

The Assistant will help assist and support the lead teacher by circulating through small groups, assisting individual students and help to maintain classroom order; they will take the class to special areas and help with assistance for those teachers as well. Ascension is a 21st century school with 1:1 iPads K-8. The assistant needs to be versatile, eager to learn and knowledgeable with technology in education.

Lead Toddler Teacher

The Lead Toddler Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children ages 1-3. This role involves implementing age-appropriate curriculum and supporting early childhood development and growth. The Lead Teacher supervises classroom activities, manages daily routines, and provides guidance to assistant teachers. They also maintain open communication with families and ensure compliance with childcare licensing and safety standards.

Competencies/Requirements

● High School Diploma, GED, or a Commonwealth Child Care Credential.
● Must be at least 18 years old.
● Must be able to pass a criminal background check and child abuse registry check.
● Must provide health documentation or negative tuberculosis tests before employment and every two years.
● CPR and First Aid certification.
● Experience working with toddlers (ages 1-3) in a childcare setting.

Responsibilities

● Assist with opening and/or closing the daycare facility.
● Implement developmentally appropriate activities and lesson plans for toddlers (ages 1-3).
● Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that supports children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
● Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times, including during indoor play, outdoor play, meals, and rest periods.
● Lead and guide assistant teachers or classroom aides, providing direction and support in daily classroom activities. ● Maintain daily routines including diapering, potty training support, meals, naps, and transitions.
● Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children’s development, daily activities, and any concerns.
● Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom, toys, and learning materials.
● Ensure compliance with Kentucky childcare licensing regulations and daycare policies.
● Ensure proper health, safety, and sanitation practices are followed in the classroom.
● Promote positive behavior and social interaction among children.

Training Requirements:

• Complete 6 hours of orientation training within the first 3 months of employment.
• Complete 9 hours of additional approved childcare training during the first year, including pediatric abusive head trauma training.
