Director of Technology (Full-Time, 2026–2027 School Year)

Mercy Academy is seeking a mission-driven and collaborative Director of Technology to lead the strategic management of our technology systems beginning July 1, 2026. The Director of Technology ensures the security, functionality, and reliability of the school’s digital infrastructure to support learning, operations, and community engagement. Key Responsibilities:
● Lead strategic planning, implementation, and maintenance of technology infrastructure, instructional tools, and cybersecurity systems.
● Oversee daily operations of hardware, software, and networks, ensuring responsive and effective technical support.
● Collaborate with the Educational Technology Specialist and faculty to integrate technology that enhances teaching and learning.
● Align technology initiatives with academic and operational goals through partnership with school leadership.
● Manage vendor relationships, procurement, and the technology budget to ensure efficient, mission-aligned solutions.
● Provide training and support to faculty and staff on educational and operational technologies.
● Promote data privacy, digital security, and best practices across all systems.
● Stay current with trends in educational technology, IT infrastructure, and digital safety.

● Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Educational Technology, or a related field.
● 3–5 years of experience in technology leadership.
● Broad knowledge of network systems, cloud-based platforms, device management, and cybersecurity.
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented approach to supporting end users.
● Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and adapt technology solutions to meet diverse needs.

Part-Time Piano and Voice Instructors

SHSA is seeking instructors in piano and voice effective January 2026 to join our team of educators committed to the mission and vision of teaching artists of all ages to pursue excellence in their craft, health in their bodies and joy in the process.

Classes are both during the school day and evening. We are specifically looking for availability during the day on Wednesdays from 12:40-2:40 to teach general music to grades 2-3; and then from 12:40-1:40 on Fridays to teach ORFF/General Music to first graders. In addition, we have need for private instruction both in voice and piano beginning at 3pm a few days a week (M-TH instructor’s preference).
