Faithful in Prayer
“Rejoice in hope, endure in affliction, persevere in prayer.” Romans 12:12

Prayer Intentions:
“Intercession is a prayer of petition which leads us to pray as Jesus did. He is the one intercessor with the Father on behalf of all, especially sinners (CCC 2634).” We invite those visiting this page to submit their prayer intentions. Through prayer, we join in a spiritual communion that strengthens us during difficult times. You may choose to have your prayer appear online or not. If you choose to do so, your prayers will appear with your first name only.
Please also pray for the intentions of others on this page. You may indicate your prayers for another person’s intentions by clicking the “I Will Be Praying for These Intentions” button.
In addition to the staff of the Archdiocese and visitors to the page who offer to pray for those who submit intentions, the Trappist monks at the Abbey of Gethsemani in Trappist, Kentucky will be praying for these intentions. We are grateful to the monks for this ministry of prayer for the people of the Archdiocese of Louisville.
“Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In all circumstances give thanks, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16.
