Transitional Diaconate Ordination

Matthew Heath Millay is a native of Guston, Ky and was baptized at St. John the Apostle Church in Brandenburg, Ky. Matthew is the second of four sons of Harold and Kimberly Millay. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Western Kentucky University and a Master of Arts degree from Saint Meinrad Seminary.

Kenneth Brian Nauert, Jr. is a native of Louisville and was baptized at St. Lawrence Church. He is the oldest of four children of Kenny and Dee Dee Nauert. He graduated from Western Kentucky University, participating in a joint undergraduate and master’s degree program and earning both Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in religious studies. After earning a Master of Arts degree in Catholic Philosophical Studies from Saint Meinrad Seminary, Kenneth transferred to Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. and is pursuing a Baccalaureate in Sacred Theology (STB).

Van Dung Tran is a native of Vietnam in the Ha Tinh province. He was baptized at Cua Sot Parish and is the second oldest of six children of Su Van and Nguyet Thi Tran. Van earned a degree in Information Technology from the Institute of Technology in Vietnam and completed the philosophy program at St. Francis Xavier Seminary in Vietnam. Currently he is pursuing an Master of Divinity degree at Mount Saint Mary’s Seminary in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Yen Van Tran is a native of Vinh, Vietnam and was baptized at Thanh Da Parish in the Diocese of Vinh. He is the third of five children of Luu and Loi Thi Tran; four of the five children in his family are in religious life. He earned a degree in English from Phu Xuan University in Vietnam and is pursuing a Master of Divinity degree at St. Mary’s Seminary in Baltimore, Maryland.
