The Archdiocese of Louisville’s Office of Multicultural Ministry and its African Ministries will offer a Swahili Mass (Kiswahili Misa) on Sunday, October 18, 2020, at 2:00 p.m., St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church located at 3112 West Broadway, Louisville, KY 40211. Join Fr. Deogratias Ssamba, A.J. for the Mass. All are welcome! Swahili is a Bantu language widely used as a lingua franca (a language that is adopted as a common language between speakers whose native languages are different) in East Africa and having official status in several countries. Many members of our Catholic community speak Swahili. The Mass in Swahili takes place on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 2:00 p.m. at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church.
