Catechist Credit: 3 hours apply toward the Theology in the content area of Catholic Belief and Practices

This session will explore the intersection of science and faith in light of Catholic Church teachings.  Special attention will be given to the theories of the big bang and evolution as well as stem-cell research.  The scientific concept of the expanding universe by Father Lemaitre will be explored.  This session is designed for secondary school science and theology teachers who want to integrate their respective disciplines into their classes.
