In this retreat, we will pause and reflect on what it is like to live in the midst of a world that is in deep pain, conflict, and complexity. Through reflections, small group discussions, and personal prayer, we will explore how the situation of our world affects us – and how we feel called to respond.

We will look at Christ’s response to the pain of the world as described in the Gospel, draw from the wisdom of the saints, and reflect on our own stories to see how the Holy Spirit has continued to be present and active in the world throughout the ages – and how this same spirit empowers us to be at peace in the midst of chaos, and to offer a witness of faith to a world in need of healing.

The presenter is Anna Hudson, Catholic Speaker and Spiritual Director.

Registration is $30 and it includes lunch. The deadline to register is July 15. Contact Lynn McDaniel at lmcdaniel@archlou.org or (502) 636-0296, ext.1267.
