The Archdiocese of Louisville’s Office of Multicultural Ministry (OMM) will hold its annual African American Catholic Leadership Awards Dinner on May 17 at 5:30 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Louisville. The event recognizes and celebrates individuals for their leadership, service, and contributions to the African American Catholic community. Proceeds from the dinner support educational scholarships for high school and college students through the Rodriq McCravy Award.
The Acacia Award, the highest honor, recognizes individuals and organizations for their service and dedication to the African American Catholic community. The Genevieve Boone Award recognizes individuals with extraordinary commitment to their faith and community. The Deacon James & M. Annette Mandley-Turner Leadership Award recognizes adult leaders who have significantly impacted their communities.
