October 31, 2013 (Louisville, KY) On Wednesday, November 6, the Archdiocese of Louisville will honor 235 Catholic school teachers who have achieved a total of 3,990 years of teaching experience. This luncheon will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at The Olmsted, 3701 Frankfort Avenue.   

 In addition, Catholic Education Foundation Teacher Awards will be presented to nine high school teachers.  This award, administered by the Catholic Education Foundation, was established in 2004 by the Dan Ulmer Family to recognize excellent and dedicated Catholic educators who consistently surpass expectations.   

Teachers are being recognized for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, and 45 years of teaching.

These teachers serve nearly 20,000 students in 47 PK-12 Catholic schools in six counties of the Archdiocese of Louisville.
