Nov. 4, 2015 (Louisville, KY)  On Saturday, November 7, the Archdiocese of Louisville will hold its first Women’s Conference from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at St. Patrick Parish (1000 North Beckley Station Road).  The sold-out conference will feature a keynote presentation, workshops, a Mass celebrated by Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz, D.D. and time for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. 600 women are expected to attend.

With the theme “Setting Our Hearts on God,” the conference will feature keynote speaker ValLimar Jansen, who will speak about a life centered on God and sharing faith with the world. Workshops on the topics of prayer, aging gracefully, cultural diversity, vocation and gift discernment, family, and faith will be held, followed by Mass at 12:15 p.m. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available throughout the morning after 10:00 a.m.

It is recommended that media outlets that wish to do interviews with one of the organizers or participants come at 10:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. during the break times. Sign-in and a light breakfast will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
