Part Time, Weekend Staff Person

Description: We are looking for a Part Time, Weekend Staff Person at the Flaget Center.  Their job duties would consist of:

  1. Attending to our weekend guest needs on Saturdays and Sundays;
  2. Collect and remove Lunch and Dinner trash from the building to our dumpster;
  3. Secure the building at the end of each day;
  4. Assist our guests in having a pleasant experience at the Flaget Center.

The pay is $10.00 to $12.00 an hour, based on experience.  It will vary by weekend, but should average 8 hours a weekend; four on Saturdays and four on Sundays.

Qualifications: Our candidate should be self-motivated, trustworthy, dependable and for the most part be able to work unsupervised.

Cemetery Grounds Maintenance

Description: The Catholic Cemeteries are currently seeking employees for Seasonal positions (April 1st through October 31st / 28 hours per week). The maintenance duties may include and are not limited to:

• Cut grass, trim around trees, walkways and memorial markers

• Work safely and comply with the company’s safety procedures

Qualifications: • Must be able to work as a team member, communicate effectively with foremen, fellow employees, contractor personnel and families

• Must show respect and sensitivity toward families

• Ability to work outside in a physically demanding environment

• Ability to operate hand-held tools and equipment (lawn mowers/string trimmers,etc.)

• Must be 18 years old/ Must have a valid driver’s license

• Must pass drug test (background check is also required)
