Description: This full-time position serves as the Director of Finance for Catholic Charities.This position manages the Finance Department and provides operational and programmatic support to the agency; oversees financial policies and procedures for the accurate and consistent recording of all financial matters.

Qualifications: Position requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA or MBA preferred; minimum of five years of financial management experience; be proficient in the special requirements of operating a not-for-profit; experience in Federal and State Government Funding helpful.

Cemetery Grounds Maintenance

Opening: Cemetery Grounds Maintenance
Agency: Catholic Cemeteries
Description: The Catholic Cemeteries are currently seeking employees for Seasonal positions (April 1st through October 31st / 28 hours per week). The maintenance duties may include and are not limited to:

• Cut grass, trim around trees, walkways and memorial markers

• Work safely and comply with the company’s safety procedures

Qualifications: • Must be able to work as a team member, communicate effectively with foremen, fellow employees, contractor personnel and families

• Must show respect and sensitivity toward families

• Ability to work outside in a physically demanding environment

• Ability to operate hand-held tools and equipment (lawn mowers/string trimmers,etc.)

• Must be 18 years old/ Must have a valid driver’s license

• Must pass drug test (background check is also required)
