The Archdiocese of Louisville’s Office of Multicultural Ministry and its Hispanic Ministry will observe the feast day of Our Lady of Guadalupe offering two celebrations this year. The schedule is as follows:

Monday, December 11, 2017: Mass 11:00 p.m.
Location: Holy Name Catholic Church – 2914 South Third Street, Louisville, KY 40208

Tuesday, December 12, 2017: Mass 7:00 p.m.
Location: Christ the King Catholic Church – 1000 Celina Road, Tompkinsville, KY 42167

Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz, D.D. will be the celebrant of the Holy Mass at both locations. Our Lady of Guadalupe, also known as the Virgin of Guadalupe (Virgen de Guadalupe) and the patron of the Americas, is a 16th century apparition of the Virgin Mary which appeared to Juan Diego Cuauhtlatoatzin on the hill of Tepeyac near Mexico City from December 9 through December 12, 1531.
