This session will compare the basic tenets of Hinduism and Buddhism with the goal of becoming more proficient in the area of spiritual perfection of non-Christian religions. This class will use the Vatican II document, Nostra Aetate, as a primary resource to explore Hinduism and Buddhism. This course is designed for history and/or theology teachers at both the middle school and secondary school level.
