We are seeking a dedicated and energetic PreK Assistant and Afterschool Supervisor to support our early childhood education and afterschool programs. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children while effectively managing staff and program operations. This role requires strong knowledge of child care licensing regulations, leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the Director to meet the needs of both programs.Key Responsibilities:
– Assist the PreK lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and classroom activities.
– Support children’s social, emotional, and educational development through positive interactions and engagement.
– Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, always ensuring active supervision and safety.
– Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting environment. The cafeteria is utilized for after-school care and must be clean and orderly upon departure.
– Assist with noon dismissal, meal and snack times, ensuring proper hygiene and safety protocols are followed.
– Ensure all staff receive a lunch break each day, including yourself.
– Support the planning and execution of afterschool programs, including homework help, recreational activities, and enrichment opportunities. Lesson plans required.
– Manage space sharing effectively, ensuring smooth transitions and appropriate use of shared areas.
– Train and supervise new after-school staff, ensuring adherence to licensing and safety standards.
– Share space and resources efficiently with the team, managing personnel and logistical challenges professionally.
– Collaborate with the Director to problem-solve and address any challenges or conflicts that arise within the program.
– Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administration regarding after-school care behaviors or successes. School day challenges and successes will be communicated by the classroom teacher.
– Ensure compliance with all licensing, safety, and health regulations, including emergency procedures.
– Assist with administrative tasks related to program documentation and student records.
Qualifications: – Full understanding of child care licensing regulations, ratios and standards.
– Proven ability to train and supervise staff.
– Experience working with young children in a preschool or similar setting.
– Experience working in an afterschool setting without the use of devices.
– CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
– Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to work collaboratively with the Director and team members.
– Patience, nurturing attitude, and attention to children’s needs.
– Flexibility to work the specified hours, including extended hours on Fridays.

– Ability to engage in active play and outdoor activities with children.
– Ability to lift and carry supplies as needed.

Description: St. Albert the Great Elementary School Cafeteria is seeking a dependable cafeteria cook to join our fun and friendly team. 7:45am – 1:15pm Monday through Friday when school is in session.
Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age.
Work well in fast paced and efficient environment
Is a team player, takes pride in preparing quality meals for students and staff
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Familiar with meal preparation, batch cooking and some scratch cooking,
Experience preferred but will train the right candidate.
