Learn to be Led by the Spirit! @ St. James (Louisville)
Mar 23 @ 7:00 pm

Please join us in welcoming speaker Pete Burak to St. James Church for his talk, “Learning to Be Led by the Spirit.”

Pete joins us from Detroit, Michigan.  He is the director of id, the young adult outreach of Renewal Ministries.  A graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville, he also holds a master’s degree in theology from Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit. Pete is a frequent speaker on discipleship, evangelization and young adult topics.

Here’s a brief description of his talk: Jesus wants a deep and life-transforming relationship with us. He encounters us where we are, calls us by name, and teaches us how to live his life. This journey of discipleship is a work of the Holy Spirit and we have an opportunity to listen to and be empowered by the Spirit. In his talk “Learning to be led by the Spirit”, Pete Burak uses Scripture, stories from his own encounter with Jesus, his time on the Michigan basketball team, and other engaging and challenging insights to help us all grow in our love of the Lord and ability to be his disciple.

This event is free and all are welcome!  We encourage everyone to invite family and friends, in particular the unchurched, to help reignite the spirit within them and remind them of the gifts of our Faith!
