Although the Liturgical Year is Scripturally based, following the life and ministry of Jesus, we rarely take the time needed to reflect on its significance within our lives.  This session will trace the evolution of the Liturgical Year and the martyrology in the Church, the significance of Holy Days and Feasts, and focus will be paid to illustrate how the Liturgical Year can become a support for classroom celebrations and instruction about the Mass and Scripture.
