Ministry life for priests and lay leaders requires working in and living as part of a community.  How might we as leaders communicate effectively in order to serve as a “bridge and not an obstacle” to those we serve?  Dr. Cash offers strategies for cultivating the emotional and interpersonal skills needed to thrive in ministry.

Emily Cash is a licensed psychologist and a member of the clinical services department at Saint Luke Institute since 2006.  She received her graduate degree in clinical psychology from Spalding University in Kentucky and completed her doctoral training in a community mental health setting in New York City.  Dr. Cash is the director of Saint Luke Center, a ministry of Saint Luke Institute in Louisville, Kentucky.
