Sister of Charity of Nazareth Catherine Looby, formerly Sister Kathleen Maria, died June 19 at Nazareth Home in Louisville. She was 82.

Sister Looby served in education ministry in Kentucky, Massachusetts and Tennessee.

Survivors include two nephews and one niece, all from Massachusetts, and sisters in the SCN congregation.The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated June 22 at St. Vincent Church, Nazareth, Ky. Burial was in Nazareth Cemetery.
