Sister Mary Catherine Callahan, OSU - January 11

Louisville Ursuline Sister Mary Catherine Callahan (formerly Sister Vianney) died Jan. 11 at Marian Home in Louisville. She was 83, and she entered the Ursuline community in 1941.

Sister Callahan taught at St. Therese and St. Leo in Louisville, and she also taught in Evansville, Ind.; Jackson, Miss; and Pittsburgh.

Survivors include four cousins, Jane Perge, Alice Wilson, Rosemary Kullman and Ursuline Sister Andrea Callahan, and members of her Ursuline family.
