(Louisville, KY) Nine members of the St. Francis DeSales High School basketball team will be reading to Saint Nicholas Academy primary students on Friday, February 26, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. The DeSales athletes will be reading to students in grades K-2 at both St. Nicholas Academy campuses: 5501 New Cut Road and 4333 Hazelwood Avenue.
This project promotes the value of reading for pleasure while providing good role models for the Saint Nicholas Academy primary students. This event is the second in a series of projects that St. Nicholas has held to promote reading and writing skills.
