SURVIVING DARFUR: STARING INTO THE HEART OF HUMAN SUFFERING - A CAPTIVATING PHOTO ESSAY AT THE MUHAMMAD ALI CENTER

WHAT: Media Open House - Surviving Darfur: Staring into the Heart of Human Suffering
Representatives of the co-sponsoring organizations – the Muhammad Ali Center, Catholic Charities, and Metro Louisville’s Office of International Affairs – will provide brief remarks and be available for interviews. We are also hopeful that refugees from the Darfur region of Sudan now living in the greater Louisville area will be available for comment on their personal experiences and the photo essay. The 49 images taken in the Darfur region of Sudan are on loan from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) until the end of March.
