Our Lady of Lourdes Has Surprise Party for Principal
 
(Louisville, KY)—Laura Glaser, principal of Our Lady of Lourdes School, will be given a surprise after the school prayer service on Thursday, January 25, at approximately 8:45 a.m. Laura Glaser has been recognized as the 2006-2007 Distinguished Elementary Principal for the Archdiocese of Louisville.

After the prayer service on January 23 at Our Lady of Lourdes (510 Breckenridge Lane), the pastor, PTO president and others will surprise Ms. Glaser with cards and gifts to thank her for her years of service. Members of her family also will surprise her at the recognition ceremony. The prayer service takes place from approximately 8:10 to 8:45, and the surprise recognition ceremony will take place directly after the prayer service. During the prayer service, Saint Xavier football coach Mike Glaser (brother-in-law of Laura Glaser) will share his thoughts on how his Catholic education has helped him in his professional and personal life.

Ms. Glaser will receive the Distinguished Elementary Principal Award at the Archdiocese of Louisville’s Catholic Schools Week Mass on Tuesday, January 30 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel Parish. She has been teaching at Our Lady of Lourdes since 1999.
