STUDENTS MEET WITH RELIGIOUS LEADERS FROM TAJIKISTAN

Holy Spirit School (322 Cannons Lane) 7th and 8th grade students will be meeting with religious leaders from Tajikistan on Monday, October 16, from 1:00 p.m.-2:30 p.m. During this time students will be able to ask questions of the representatives, and the religious leaders will have the opportunity to ask questions of the students.

The trip is sponsored by the United States Agency for International Development, World Learning, Inc., and the World Affairs Council of Kentucky/Southern Indiana. The guests will be in the United States from October 11-16, and they will be meeting a variety of audiences, including religious and educational leaders as well as ordinary citizens. The theme of the project is “Religion in Secular Society.”
