First Annual Hispanic Catholic Scholarship Awards Banquet
The first annual Hispanic Catholic Scholarship Awards banquet will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2006, 6 p.m., at the Hilton Garden Inn, 2735 Crittenden Drive. The guest speaker is Rev. David Sanchez, Associate Pastor at Holy Spirit Parish, Louisville, KY. A silent auction will begin at 5 p.m. Approximately 100 people are expected to attend. Funds raised at this banquet will used for scholarships to be awarded to Catholic Hispanic youth who plan to attend a Catholic grade school (grades K-8) in the Archdiocese of Louisville.
