Roman Catholics in the Archdiocese of Louisville Donate $487,000 to Relief Efforts in Haiti
(Louisville, Kentucky) As of February 9, individuals, parishes, schools and other Catholic organizations in the Archdiocese of Louisville have donated $487,016.30 to Catholic Charities for Haiti relief efforts. Catholic Charities is sending all funds to
Catholic Relief Services, which is the official international humanitarian agency of the Catholic community in the United States.
Catholic Relief Services alleviates suffering and provides assistance to people in need in more than 100 countries without regard to race, religion or nationality.
