Veteran's Day Concert

(Pewee Valley, KY) On Wednesday, November 11, St. Aloysius Elementary in Pewee Valley (122 Mount Mercy Drive) is having a Veteran’s Day Concert at 9:30 a.m. in the gym.

Under the direction of Sue Beer, music director, the eighth-grade students will honor our veterans and celebrate patriotism through songs. A flag ceremony and readings will begin the production. The songs that have been chosen reflect the history of the United States and include music from the American Revolution, the War of 1812, the Civil War, World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War and the Gulf War. Students also will sing songs connected with each of the major branches of the armed forces. A patriotic sing-along will close the program.

The public is invited to attend this free concert.
