Kentucky Author Visits Our Lady of Lourdes Elementary School
(Louisville, KY) Kentucky native and children’s author C.C. Payne will visit fourth- and fifth-grade students at Our Lady of Lourdes Elementary School (510 Breckenridge Lane) on Thursday, November 5, 2009, at 10:00 a.m.
Ms. Payne, who lives in Danville, Kentucky, authored the 2008 book Something To Sing About. This book received a starred review from Booklist, will be featured in the November 15th issue of Booklist as one of the top ten best religious books for youth, and has been nominated for a 2010 Children's Crown Award. The meeting will take place in the adult formation room, which is located in the school.
Ms. Payne will speak to the children about the writing process and will autograph copies of her book.
