COUPLES CELEBRATE A COMBINED TOTAL OF 6,159 YEARS OF MARRIAGE

(Louisville, KY) Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz, D.D., celebrated the annual Wedding Anniversary Mass on Sunday, October 21, 2:30 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Assumption, 443 South Fifth Street.

This event honors couples celebrating their 30th, 40th, 50th, or 60th+ wedding anniversaries. One hundred thirty couples attended. The anniversary breakdown is:

 

30 years 18 couples
40 years 32 couples
50 years 52 couples
60 years 16 couples
61 years 2 couples
62 years 1 couple
64 years 1 couple
65 years 4 couples
66 years 1 couple
67 years 1 couple
68 years 1 couple
70 years 1 couple

The couple attending who have been married the longest was William and LaVerne Lattis from Holy Name Parish, who have attended this celebration every year since their 60th anniversary.

This event was sponsored by the Family Ministries Office, one of the 20 service agencies of the Archdiocese of Louisville.
