Catholic School Job Openings

Thank you for your interest in the possibility of substitute teaching within the Archdiocese of Louisville. To be considered an applicant, you will need to complete an application form (link below). Within the application you will find a useful checklist that will assist you in submitting all of the necessary documentation with the application.

For elementary schools, an updated substitute teacher list is prepared and forwarded to our schools on the first of every month. If hired, you will be contacted directly by the school needing your assistance. You also will be paid by the school that employs you as a sub.

Each high school in our archdiocese has its own substitute teaching requirements. If you are interested in substitute teaching at the high school level, please contact the high schools directly. A link to each school is located here.

Due to an abundance of substitute teacher applications, as of November 1, 2011, applications for substitute teachers will not be accepted for the remainder of the school year. Substitute teacher applications for the 2012-2013 school year will be accepted after July 1, 2012.
