With approximately 300 parishioners, St. Boniface Catholic Church is a parish with an urban mission. It is located close to downtown Louisville in a neighborhood that is undergoing tremendous transition – a transition that will be a positive one for the community, the neighborhood, the parishioners and the church.

Located in southeastern Jefferson County, Mercy Academy has served young women since 1885. Since its establishment, more than 6,000 young women have sought the unique blend of excellence, challenge and personalized attention that are the hallmarks of a Mercy education.

Stewardship Prayers of the Faithful 2007 ARCHDIOCESE OF LOUISVILLE STEWARDSHIP PRAYERS of the FAITHFUL 2007 The following Prayers of the Faithful are offered as part of the yearlong stewardship effort. Parishes are encouraged to use the prayers each week. Please feel free to edit or rewrite these prayers in a style that is familiar to your parish community. December - 2006 Advent Season As we prepare our hearts to receive God’s greatest gift, His son, may we reflect on our need to share with others a just portion of the blessings we have received from God... We pray to the Lord. Christmas Season As God has shared His Son with us, may we generously and willingly share our blessings with others…We pray to the Lord. January - 2007 May we resolve during this new year to live as good stewards of the gifts that God has given to us by sharing more generously than ever our time, talents, and treasure with our parish community… We pray to the Lord. Stewardship Renewal During this time of stewardship renewal in our parish, may all parish households willingly answer the call to partner in Christ’s work by completing and returning a stewardship intention form…We pray to the Lord. February – 2007 That our actions will continue to build up our parish community as we live out our call to be good stewards of God’s gifts… We pray to the Lord. March – 2007 Lent During this season of Lent, may we open our hearts to the needs of the poor and the oppressed and use our gifts to ease their burdens … We pray to the Lord. April – 2007 That our every action demonstrate our gratitude to God for the gift of salvation and eternal life made possible by the sacrifice of His Son… We pray to the Lord. May – 2007 May we follow the example of the Blessed Mother and always be open to listen and follow God’s will without measuring the personal cost… We pray to the Lord. June – 2007 May we become better stewards of our time setting aside the first portion of each day in prayer and discernment with God…We pray to the Lord. July – 2007 May we our hearts always be willing and open to returning to God the first fruits – giving from our substance rather than our surplus…We pray to the Lord. August – 2007 That we may always seek to see God in all we encounter… We pray to the Lord. September – 2007 May we always remember - “all that we are” and “all that we have” are gifts from a loving God… We pray to the Lord. October – 2007 That all members of our parish community will be united in our faith journey … We pray to the Lord. November – 2007 During this season of giving thanks, may we always remember that God is the source of all the blessings in our lives… We pray to the Lord.
