Following are some activities at St. Aloysius School in Pewee Valley and Immaculate Conception School in LaGrange.
St. Aloysius School Becomes a Desert
On Sunday, January 29 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., St. Aloysius School (208 Mount Mercy Drive, Pewee Valley, Ky) will be transformed into a desert during the school’s open house. Students in grades K-8 researched the geographical features and cultures associated with desert areas in order to create the displays. The open house also will feature a cactuspalooza, showcasing cacti decorated by each class. After the open house, these cacti will be on display throughout the Pewee Valley community.
