“Pastoral care team ministry set to expand again.......” The Record October 8, 2010
We are seeking adult Catholic men and women to join a new ministry at Nazareth Home. The Office of Pastoral Care has pioneered pastoral care team ministries locally at three different hospitals. This collaborative ministry with Nazareth Home marks the first formal relationship with a nursing home. The residents of Nazareth Home will benefit from a trained team of laity by providing a compassionate, non-judgmental listening ministry of care and compassion. Relationships of care will be formed between team members and residents providing long term relationships.
Training program begins January 2010.
The training program will be conducted at Nazareth Home during daytime hours.
The Application deadline has been extended until January 10th!
