Purpose: To promote devotion to Mary, the Mother of God, and to coordinate Marian devotions within the Archdiocese. Sponsors three special rosary devotions: first Sunday of May at Ursuline Campus; annual Rosary Celebration in Bardstown, Ky., held on Sunday after Labor Day; Living Rosary usually held in October. Holy Hour of Reparation in honor of the Immaculate Heart of Mary from 1-2 p.m. at Carmelite Monastery.

Archdiocese Of Louisville Vocation Office – Planting Seeds Committee
Purpose: To enhance and broaden the scope and outreach of vocation ministry by supporting the mission of the Vocation Office. Through its programs and services, PSC seeks to assist all people of the archdiocese in recognizing and responding to their Baptismal call. Educational programs are geared toward elementary, high school and religious education students, as well as teachers and catechists, with focus on vocations to priesthood and religious life.

Catholic Charismatic Renewal Pastoral Council

Center for Interfaith Relations
Purpose: The Center for Interfaith Relations (formerly the Cathedral Heritage Foundation) was established in 1985 by a group of civic leaders through a unique partnership with the Archdiocese of Louisville and the Cathedral of the Assumption. The mission of the nonprofit organization is to promote inter-religious understanding and the civic role of Louisville's historic Cathedral of the Assumption complex. CHF provides many inter-religious programs to the people of Greater Louisville, including its premier event, the Festival of Faiths, held each November. The foundation also hosts free lectures and concerts. CHF offers free tours of the historic Cathedral complex. (Schedule tours by calling (502) 583-3100.) In addition, the Foundation operates a First Experience for a Museum of Faiths designed to perpetuate the spirit of the Festival. Eastern Catholic Faithful
Purpose: Canonically established communities for Catholics of the Byzantine and Maronite Churches who are living in the Archdiocese of Louisville. Holy Transfiguration Community is a mission of the Ukrainian Eparchy of St. Josaphat in Parma, Ohio, and of the Melkite-Greek Eparchy of Newton, Mass. The Maronite Community is a mission of the Eparchy of Our Lady of Lebanon of Los Angeles. Liaison for members of other Eastern Churches who live in the area.

Peace And Justice Commission

Propagation Of The Faith/Holy Childhood Association
Purpose: To coordinate all mission activity, both foreign and home, for the archdiocese. Through the Propagation of the Faith, missionaries are assigned to speak at different parishes, and various collections are sent to the central office in New York. Through the Holy Childhood, grade-school students are given a greater awareness of the global mission of the church.

Sacred Heart Center
Purpose: To promote devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus by means of night adoration in the home, enthronement of the Sacred Heart in the home, and the apostolate of the suffering.
